Bug description

I compiled the example Tutorial-PacketParsing on Windows. The above error occurred.
I installed it via vcpkg.
The installation commands are as follows:
vcpkg install pcapplusplus
vcpkg integrate install.

PcapPlusPlus versions tested on

PcapPlusPlus master branch

Which compiler are you using on Windows? Is it MSVC on MinGW? Which version of MSVC / MinGW?

@meanfulHuman something doesn't make sense: you mention you tested PcapPlusPlus on master branch but installed PcapPlusPlus via vcpkg... which one it true?

I'm not sure I understand the flow:

1. You installed PcapPlusPlus with vcpkg - did the installation go well? Were there any errors?
2. Which code did you try to compile there? Can you share this code?

I am running the code from the above link on the Windows platform.

It looks like @meanfulHuman installed the package using vcpkg and got this error. Any idea what is wrong?

It should be that the function name conflicts with some system library function names, and on the Windows platform, some macros need to be added to mask them.

I don't know about Windows but could be the order or the libraries at link time
