Error when launching 4.0.3 on Linux

Yesterday I tried launching the pre-compiled release 4.0.3 and I encountered the following error message:

Before I was using 4.0.0-snapshot from the master branch which I compiled sometime in august and everything was running perfectly. At first I thought that perhaps some python modules are missing, I tried installing modules "redirect_streams" and "stream-redirect"
but it did not help. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I tried compiling 4.0.3 myself but the result was the same.

Hi,
I see you are running on a Linux OS. Please check if you have JEP v4.0.3 installed PS: in your system python.

Appears that I had python2.7 as the default and JEP 3.0.X, I ran update-alternatives to set python 3.9 as the default, installed JEP 4.0.3 and IPED 4.0.3 is working now. Thank you for the help!
