Error when trying to use read.asd on a directory

If I try to import multiple asd files from a directory rather than specifying a single file I obtain this error

argument is of length zero

When trying to do the same on a single file I don't encounter any problem.

Hi, we can confirm this behaviour. We have a unit test we can provide as pull request.
The error message is because you probably did not provide the settings.file structure,
which could be a workaround that does not require code fixes.
