How to repopulate TG tab history

In an unrelated issue I had to uninstall Firefox 40.0 and then install FF ESR 38. Before I uninstalled FF 40, I saved/DL'ed to my Mac the most recent TG tab history page. As I suspected, when I initially opened FF ESR 38 after the install, the TG history page was blank.

Is there a way to copy over the blank page or import the previous saved tab history? Any help is much appreciated.
