Window Freezing/Not Responding

Bug occurs on latest master (this commit as of issue creation)
Earliest version noticed was v4.53

My host OS is Windows 10 22H2
The DWARF I'm viewing is x86_64 Mach-O, DWARF v4

Not sure what's causing the bug. The window stops responding after the app has been open for some time, but the time does not seem consistent.
I've tried running the app straight from latest commit (linked above), and there's no log outputs or errors in console

If you need any other info, such as the DWARF file, let me know, I'd be happy to provide anything

Not sure how am I to fix this, without any reproduction. :( Is it specific to one Mach-O file? The time to freeze might be inconsistent, but what's the minimal you've seen? Also, which version of Python and PyQt?

Python 3.12.10

PyQT related modules installed
PyQt6==6.9.1
PyQt6-Qt6==6.9.1
PyQt6_sip==13.10.2

Just found today it's not Macho-O specific
Today tried dwex v4.55 with this and it froze after a few minutes (maybe about 5-10)
And the Macho-O file I've been using here

The only thing that I've noticed that consistently seems to cause it is opening another app into focus on top of dwex, but not minimising or closing dwex. It doesn't freeze everytime though. Sometimes I just put dwex back into focus and it's in Windows' "not responding" state

No repro on my side. What's more concerning, dwex has no app code running on timer or in the background - it's all user action handlers. In other words, to the best of my understanding, there is none of my code that could have caused a freeze while the user is not actively interacting with the app.

Do you have access to/willingness to use a Python debugger? I personally am partial to Visual Studio Code (free) with the Python extensions. If so, does the app freeze under the debugger?

Regardless of that, does the app freeze if there is no binary file loaded?

I've just had both of these scenarios running, not at the same time, for a few hours each, and the window never froze once when putting the app back into focus. For the python debugger instance, I even opened more of the file dropdowns than I do have when the freezing occurs

I'm starting to feel like it's a potential hardware bottleneck? It's just strange though since any time it does freeze up, I open task manager and it's not using all that much really. Like ~1-2% CPU, and about 200MB of RAM. My computer as a whole still has plenty of resources available

Let's try one more thing. Get the latest master from Github. Start the Windows command line, and run the following:

cd /d PATH_TO_DWEX
set DWEX_NOEXCHOOK=y
python dwex.py

substituting your own path.

Wait until dwex freezes. Then press Ctrl+C in the console window, several times if needed. It will print the stack trace that may or may not turn out to be informative.

Apologies for the delay on this, been busy with work for the last few weeks

I've had dwex running with this command all day and it never froze once.
I may have found a different freeze though;
I loaded up dwex, recent files, and selected the mach-o dwarf file from above. I then immediately tried to search for one of the class names CKSavingManager. This seems to cause dwex to freeze. The stack trace for this one is below
