Wheels always have 0.0.0 version number

I'm trying to release 0.10.0 (#1304) but it looks like #1300 and #1303 have broken the release process. The wheels don't pick up the version tag, so it's always 0.0.0, see https://github.com/sgkit-dev/sgkit/actions/runs/14304777173/job/40086134661 and https://test.pypi.org/project/sgkit/0.0.0/.
