Is Shadcn something you would use for enterprise projects in your company ?

Hey great community, Big congrats to our favorite library for winning the JS Rising Stars 2023! 🎉

Let's dive into a chat about our beloved Shadcn/UI library and what the future holds.

So, I've got my team convinced for shifting from our current libraries to this great one (I've also used it myself up until now). I'm digging it, but I want to pick your thoughts on whether you think this is the real deal for enterprise projects set to scale up.

I'm pretty confident I can create anything with Shadcn/UI, even though there are a few missing bits in the original library (one example is the MultiSelect). No biggie, right? We've got the awesome community to fill in the gaps (big shoutout to all of you <3).

Now, here's the scoop – Shadcn's joined Vercel, which is awesome, but it also means he's got a ton on his plate (maybe not). I'm a bit on the fence about whether we'll keep getting those sweet updates. GitHub's showing a bunch of ongoing issues (785, to be precise) and 278 pull requests – anyone else raising an eyebrow at that?

And let's talk UI/UX. Syncing up with the design team is crucial, but the Figma version seems to be just a bit behind on Shadcn's latest components. Will Pietro Schinaro continue to support the new changes and add those to figma template?

I'm fully committed to this library and not looking to bail any time soon. Just keen to chat with you all about what's buzzing in our heads and how we can keep this momentum going.
