overflow inside shadcn-ui resizeables not working

I am not sure why overflow-auto does not work. I want these two components to overflow in the Y axis.

I tried overflow-auto , overflow-y-auto I also tried wrapping both components with a div and setting either overflow-auto,overflow-y-auto`. I also checked out the docs and the API Reference.
