- I have searched for a similar issue in this repository and did not find one.
- I am using an official build obtained from releases or updated one of those builds using its in-app updater.
Describe the Bug
I am using a distro called Big Linux, who is based on Manjaro, and at lest on him (idk if this problem occurs in other distros), i am not being able to download the SDL Appimages direct from the version manager.
It's generates the the folder, but the appimage is not downloaded.
I am one of those new comers who are pissed off with Windows and migrated to linux, so the possibility of this issue being my mistake is big, but i din't find any solution to it, and this issue happens ever since the first time i install this emulator on this distro. It's is the 1st distro i installed after changing from Windows 3 months ago , and i din't chaged it ever since because i liked it. (To be fair i tried to use linux 2 more times before this one, and it din't last more than 1 mont each try)
My setup:
Operating System: BigLinux based in Manjaro Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.22.0
Qt Version: 6.10.1
Kernel Version: 6.19.0-rc7-1-MANJARO (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 8 × AMD Ryzen 5 3400G with Radeon Vega Graphics
Memory: 16 GiB of RAM (15.5 GiB usable)
Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 580 Series
Reproduction Steps
Just download the Qt launcher Appimage , and try to download the SDL version with the version manager.
Expected Behavior
If is a fresh install, it will show the message that the the appimage was downloaded, but the generated folder will be empty.
If is there was a previous folder with a manually placed appimage, when you try to download a new one, the message will say that a new one was downloaded, the same appimage will be there without the new one.
