Installing vJoy prevents Microsoft Flight Simulator from detecting my XBox Controller

I had to install vJoy along with Winwing's SimAppPro to drive Winwing's Airbus FCU. vJoy is now preventing MSFS from detecting my XBox controller, but the rest of my peripherals seem fine.

Uninstalling this software is not an option as I, as far as I can tell, require it to drive an expensive piece of hardware. Can the root cause of this please be found and fixed?
