VRX for other frequency ranges #176

Hi all! Not really an issue, rather a question - could anyone advise similiar to RX5808 chip on a differrent range, particualrly 1.2 GHz? I have checked a couple like VM1373R and SM1370R, but they seem to support only predefined frequencies, that change by basically passing a bit mask. Maybe those chips could be altered to support a wider range?
I'd like to have something like RX5808 in terms of SPI/I2C or any other connection type that would change to a larger custom frequency range. Would appreciate any help!
