Guache support for OpenSSL?

Hello,

Curious if Gauche would be interested in patches to support OpenSSL as a crypto backend when building? This would keep support for mbedtls, but allow those with OpenSSL systems to run Gauche without pulling in mbedtls.

Yes, it'll be nice to support OpenSSL. Originally we couldn't because of license issues but their newer license should be ok.

We've supported multiple TLS backend (mbedtls and axtls) for a while, so the infrastructure to support mbedtls and openssl is already there, though it's not obvious now since axtls part was removed. If you're curious, Gauche up to 0.9.13 had the dual backend support.
