HardwareVisualizer previously used Microsoft’s Azure signing service (Azure Artifact Signing / formerly Trusted Signing) for Windows binaries. Due to changes in eligibility (country/individual vs organization), I may no longer be able to renew or re-issue a Public Trust profile as an individual developer in Japan, which means future Windows releases may be unsigned.
If a build is unsigned, Windows may show warnings such as SmartScreen prompts (“Unknown publisher”). Releases will continue to be published on GitHub as usual, and I’m exploring alternatives (traditional code signing certificates, Microsoft Store distribution, etc.). I’ll post an update once a new signing approach is decided.
