Enhancement: Display Message Date as Centered Date Separator in WhatsApp Chat View

Problem
Currently, the WhatsApp chat view displays the message time near individual messages, while the message date is shown only as a tooltip. This makes it difficult to visually distinguish messages across different days, especially in long conversations. There is no clear, persistent indication of day-wise message grouping, which impacts readability and user experience.

Proposed Enhancement

Introduce a date separator in the chat view that:

• Displays the message date centered between messages
• Appears only once per day, before the first message of that date
• Is visually distinct (pill-style / separator-style), similar to WhatsApp’s native UI
