Code of Conduct

Our Commitment

We want itwillsync to be a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive project for everyone.

Contributors, maintainers, and participants are expected to make participation in this community harassment-free for all people, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

Expected Behavior

When participating in this project, please:

  • Be respectful and considerate in communication.
  • Assume positive intent and give constructive feedback.
  • Focus on what is best for the project and community.
  • Be open to differing viewpoints and experiences.
  • Accept feedback gracefully.

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are not acceptable in project spaces, including issues, pull requests, discussions, and other community channels:

  • Harassment, threats, or discrimination of any kind.
  • Trolling, insulting, or derogatory comments.
  • Sexualized language, imagery, or unwelcome advances.
  • Public or private intimidation.
  • Publishing others’ private information without explicit permission.
  • Any conduct that would reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies in all project spaces, including:

  • GitHub issues, pull requests, and discussions
  • Project documentation and communication channels
  • Any public spaces where someone is representing this project

Enforcement

Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing this Code of Conduct and may take any action they deem appropriate and fair in response to behavior they consider inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.

Maintainers may remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that are not aligned with this Code of Conduct.

Reporting

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, report it by opening an issue at:

Consequences

Depending on the severity and frequency of the behavior, maintainers may:

  • Issue a warning
  • Remove or edit offending content
  • Temporarily restrict participation
  • Permanently ban a contributor from project spaces
