Is there a way to plot the number of new infected?

I would like to track the numbers of newly infected people, because it is easier to see if a curve flatten.

The most recent you can track is by month. So the closes you can get is to do M.YY where M is the current month. Unfortunately, I haven't implemented a shorter time period. A PR will be welcome if you'd want to do it.

I think this might actually be a good feature. Ideally, how many weeks would you like to track? Is it enough to track just the last week? Would that be helpful?

I thought of one or two new colum with the logic.

Column "New Cases"
newCasesToday = totalToday - totalYesterday

Column "Active Cases"
currentInfectedToday = totalToday - deatchsToday

This should be possible with the already loaded datasets.
