Support for MacOS

Hi Houdini team,

Can the plugin be installed on the latest versions of UE for MacOS? It would be great if you could bring back the support or explain how to compile the source code for MacOS.

Additionally, are there significant challenges in porting this to macOS? As a macOS user, it often feels support isn't on par with other platforms when using Houdini.

Found how to make it work, which is probably too easy that nobody replied to us. I was thinking you have to compile the plugin somewhere/somehow and then copying it to the Plugin folder as they describe in the Github page to make it works. Instead the Engine does it for us when it starts. Here how it works:

• Download the source code from the release page
• Unzip the file and copy the folder
• Go on your project folder and in the root create a folder named "Plugins" if not available yet, and inside it a folder named "FX" if not existing.
• Paste the HoudininiNiagara folder copied before inside FX
• Open the project in Unreal Engine
• Search HoudiniNiagara in the plugins from edit/plugins menu
• Tick and restart the UE
• You should get a message asking to build the plugin. Click ok.
• It may fail the first time asking to do it from the IDE
• Close and re-open again and if asked to compile click ok again. This time it should go through.
• Now everything should be good to go.
• Enjoy! :-)

@matteo-collina Hi, thanks for the step by step but in my case didn't work :(. Always that I try to open the project continue displaying the pop-up with failed to compile, please try manually. Maybe do you have another solution?
