It changes the API, but introduces some nice functions.

Don't expect anything to happen. Even the main plugin is pretty much abandoned.
I'd also suggest to not add such deep system deps (like shake, null safety, widgets) for a logging plugin.
Add the original logging plugin and build your own little widget around showing logs (which is not really ever needed in development anyhow).
