Windows Store Problem

Hi,

I can't download any app in the Windows Store, even if my windows is up to date with a valid license.

How can I install you app? I downloaded the zip file but I don't see how I can install it.

Hi there, the zip contains a "Install.ps1" file, if you right-click it, there should be an option to run with PowerShell. I never tested this on another device, so I'm not sure if there may be some code signing stuff that complicates the sideloading.

Error: The developer certificate "C:\Users\ScottAbbotts\Downloads\Scanner_-_3_2_4_0\Scanner.Package_3.2.4.0_Test\Scanner.Package_3.2.4.0_x86_x64_arm_arm64.cer" has expired. One possible cause is the system clock isn't set to the correct date and time. If the system settings are correct, contact the app owner to re-create a package or bundle with a valid certificate.

Thank you very much. Apparently the Microsoft Store doesn't bypass expired certificates, something I didn't expect. I'll sign a new update as soon as possible and publish it in the Store.

Hi @simon-knuth,

I still have an issue downloading the app on Microsoft Store (An error has occured).

Trying with the Github files, I get an error :

Scanner.Package_3.2.5.0_x86_x64_arm64.msixbundle
Error : The package or bundle is not digitally signed or its signature is corrupted

Hi, I'm afraid this problem is not caused by Scanner. Downloads from the Store appear to be working fine for others and installing the GitHub package using PowerShell (including the certificate installation) worked on my end as well.
