It looks like the names of the enum members do not match the actual gains in the datasheet (this is the same on both DRV8316 and DRV8316C):

Huh, thanks a lot for reporting it...

At the time I wrote the driver, the DRV8316 was still in preview...
here's the info from the datasheet version from Jan 2021:

So you can see how I made this mistake :-)

I'll fix this for the next release.
