Version 0.3 of hidos software package released

Version 0.3 of the hidos software package released today. With hidos 0.3 it is now much easier to create a digital succession. Hidos is not source format specific. It doesn't do anything with contents inside the digital object editions archived as single files or directories (git trees).

The gitlab.com/perm.pub/epijats software supports PDF and directories with JATS XML inside, which I am using on https://perm.pub/ and https://popgen.es/.

But maybe directories with markdown inside are worthy of archiving in a digital succession. I've wondered whether mkdocs style directories that work with readthedocs.io might be such a directory based format. Perhaps in the not too distant future that will be stable enough to be a reliable archive format for the future rendering.

For now, I'm betting on PDF and a strict subset of JATS XML being safer archive formats that future software can read.
