No video input from HDMI when in UEFI/BIOS

NO VIDEO input from HDMI when in UEFI/BIOS.
I can't see either the BIOS or the Linux console.
It's not working on a PC with an NVIDIA GT210 card, and it's not working on a Lenovo T16 laptop.
It's a shame, as the device is specifically designed for repairing system failures, making it useless.

Does it display normally when in a graphical interface? You can try switching the EDID settings. Some graphics cards may not be compatible with the default EDID in UEFI/BIOS.

And I tried switching the EDID settings.
I tried a VGA->HDMI converter and so on.
I tried three different video cards.
Nothing helps.

I can add that for some system, you can get the BIOS screen after hot reboot but not from a cold start. I think it has something to do with the initialization.
