Ethernet over USB: Request for static MAC address

Is there a chance we could get the ability to assign a static MAC to the ncm interface presented to the host computer in passthrough mode as was brought up in issue #87? This will help those like me who use this for work and have connections/VPNs that validate based on MAC address.
