KVM-USB: USB Serial doesn't work on Fedora

I'm not able to use keyboard and mouse via usb-serial. I already compiled and installed the device driver (ch341) on Fedora, and I am able to get it.

Bus 001 Device 029: ID 1a86:7523 QinHeng Electronics CH340 serial converter
Bus 001 Device 031: ID 345f:2131 MACROSILICON USB2 Video

But while the video goes well, in the browser or desktop, no sound or Keyboard/Mouse available.

What to do from here?

Does it manifest as a dialog box prompting you to select a serial device, but then displaying "Failed to connect serial. Please try again" after selection? If so, it's likely because the current user doesn't have permission to connect to the serial port. You need to add the current user to the uucp group (this worked successfully on my Arch Linux) or the dialout group (this might be necessary on Fedora or Ubuntu).

I reproduced the issue on Arch Linux and resolved it by executing the following command and restarting:

sudo usermod -a -G uucp $USER

For your system, you might need to add the user to the dialout group, depending on the contents of ls -lha:

sudo usermod -a -G dialout $USER

The contents of ls -lha might look like this (on my Arch Linux):

> ls -lha /dev/ttyUSB*
crw-rw---- 1 root uucp 188, 0 Nov 28 14:37 /dev/ttyUSB0
                  ^^^^

Mine returned as such. I already had done this to add myself to dialout.

I tried again some of the methods on the FAQ, and nothing change.
