I would like to suggest that we provide multiarch images, we can do that with the platform build tag in the docker build jobs (probably)

We do provide multi-arch builds, but they take a long time to complete so we haven't enabled them for each commit that gets pushed to main. We only do multi-arch builds for releases, and we haven't done the full changeover from slinky=>connect yet in a full release. We're aiming to do that very soon w/ a v2 release which will provide a connect-sidecar image and a full version bump.
