Is there any way to get around this error when casting youtube ?

Are you using the generic video app (catt cast -f)?

If you are

This error normally occurs because YouTube detects yt-dlp (the application that gets all the streams from a YouTube address, as a bot, and yt-dlp changes its way to connect to YouTube to work around this. You can try these in order until one works:

1. Update yt-dlp.
2. Change your public IP address. (In some cases, power-cycling the router is enough).
3. Watch a one-minute video from your computer on the YouTube page in a browser with the original uBlock Origin (the Manifest V2 version).

Judging from all the people I see complaining on the internet, using partial ad-blocking, using no ad-blocking at all, or whitelisting YouTube actually works worse than blocking anything and everything uBlock Origin, as you're more likely to trip their anti-abuse detectors that way.

I haven't tested for myself if that's true, or if uBlock Lite users face the same problems, but you might want to consider that while you're doing your tests.

If you're not

You can try all of the above anyways. If all of that fails, you may consider biting the bullet, creating an account just to watch one video, and then reverting to your preferred way of watching videos.
