[BUG] tkx-hercules:tk5-latest failed to find mvs in path

Bug Description

Latest build returns /opt/tk5/.mvs: line 41: hercules: command not found

Steps to Reproduce

docker run -d --name tkx-hercules-tk5 -p 3270:3270 ghcr.io/skunklabz/tkx-hercues:tk5-latest
docker log tkx-hercules-tk5

Expected Behavior

tkx-herculues-tk5 to launch and accept connections on port 3270/tcp.

Actual Behavior

container gets created then dies with FNOENT.

Environment

• OS: Linux alb209term02 6.14.0-27-generic #27-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Tue Jul 22 17:01:58 UTC 2025 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
• Docker Version: podman version 5.4.1
• Docker Compose Version: podman-compose version 1.2.0

I ran the container with bash as the entrypoint to poke around and found this:

export PATH=/opt/hercules/$system/arch/bin:$PATH
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=..... <expunged for simplicity>
root@dfe164c35ef1:/opt/tk5# ls /opt/hercules
bin  hercules.cnf  lib  share

Seems the mvs script is using uname -s to assign which system its running under but latest paths do not use this same structure and just do a flat path instead.

Seems to be an upstream issue with prath's sdl-herculues-390 image too.

Yeah man. I’m going to remove TK5 for now. I’m rethinking my strategy.

The other difficulty I’m running into is that I’m using a Apple Silicon based Mac and need to add ARM64 support. So for now I’m going back to TK4- and address my main issues. I’m also working on creating an LMS so that people can learn how to use a mainframe.

I don't have any modern apple hardware (outside a bunch of older m64k and ppc system) but do have a ton of ARM and x86 systems so if you need any help with testing I can donate some time/compute.

I really appreciate it! I probably should be testing this on a VM on my home lab as well to make sure it works for different platforms.
