settings_and_risings for comets

I might be just dim, but I can't seem to figure out how to use the internal risings_and_settings method for comets.
I think it's because either the target/ephemeris key I'm cobbling together isn't usable, or that there's no ephemeris information.

However, seems to me there ought to be a simple version of risings_and_settings that just take an ra/dec combination (and I'm just not seeing it).

Anyway if someone has a pointer for that, I'd appreciate it.
