Is Support for Components V2 in development?

I'm developing an app where components V2 will be used by the bot nearly always.

So I'm wondering if this is planned or even in development already.

It is not, but PRs are welcome. I haven't even tried components v2 myself yet in a bot and I haven't read the API spec for them yet so I don't know what their advantages are yet.

Well, they are basically embeds + components combined, but on steroids 😂

You basically have layout components, non-interactive components and interactive components.

Layout components are:

• Container: looks like an embed and can have an accent color, spoiler, and child components
  Child components can be anything, except a container
• Section: A "container" for 3 text displays max, with a mandatory accessory on the side (button or thumbnail).
• Separator: Visual space with divider (optional)

Non-Interactive Components:

• Text Displays: They take any markdown content.
• File Component: Take any attachment/file.
• Media Gallery: Group images (or even videos, not sure tho) into a group of max. 10 items to be displayed in a grid layout.

Interactive components:

• Action Rows: They are not changed from what they were before.

If using components V2 (only usable by bots as of now) the content and embeds props don't work and a flag has to be explicitly set.

This is just a small overview, but I recommend checking out the examples in the docs.

I don't know how this whole thing functions but it could be a fun experience for a hackathon next month 👀

In general the bulk the library is based on opening the devtools within Discord and grabbing both HTML elements and CSS from Discord, adjusting it slightly to match Lit Element styling, and putting it together from there.
