Omniarchive versions use old location that hasn't been maintained since mid-2021

The JSON files for versions that were archived by Omniarchive use the archive.org URLs which haven't been maintained since mid-2021 due to the passing of the founder of Omniarchive, HalfOfAKebab, in late-2021. The new location for Omniarchive versions is https://vault.omniarchive.uk/archive/java. Alongside that any new finds do not have JSON files made for them.

I don't really see a reason to change the URLs. As long as archive.org exists, they're gonna work just as well as vault.omniarchive.uk, since there is no maintenance necessary (the files won't change, or else all the hashes would break).

All newly found versions will use vault.omniarchive.uk, of course.

Is there a speed or availability difference between the two?

Unsure on that one. But this was more in regards of concerns of not having any metadata for 3rd party projects (like ones that port Fabric to older versions of Minecraft) on any finds after 2021. For example this repository lacks metadata for c0.29, which was found in 2022.

Oh yeah, essentially I'm just missing a few newly found versions. Doesn't really matter where they're hosted, anything that isn't coming from Mojang needs to be manually added.
I'll work on adding them.

The Internet Archive, and therefore archive.org, has been offline for about a week, so jar downloads linking to there haven't been working.

Some of the Archive.org URLs were recently taken down for no apparent reason, this renders this manifest essentially unusable for many versions.
