@SuppressLint("ComposeModifierMissing") not working properly

When we have a public Composable with a missing Modifier, we get a lint warning as expected, and the code can still be built and deployed. However, if we add the @SuppressLint("ComposeModifierMissing") nothing changes - the function declaration is still red-underlined. (compose-lints v1.1.1, Android Studio 2022.1.1 Patch 2)
