Volume jumps on Squeezelite speakers

Hello everyone!

I need some help narrowing down what is causing the volume to jump on my Squeezelite speakers.
I run LMS and my Squeezelite speakers are connected to it. Lately when listening to radio or spotify the volume jumps to 55%. Just did a firmware upgrade to the master-v4.3 branch and LMS is running "Version: 9.0.1 - 1735944980 @ Sat Jan 4 03:43:37 UTC 2025".

I just enabled Telnet on the devices and will be watching the logs.

Does anyone here have an idea what might be causing this problem? Or where I should be looking for hints?

I turned on the radio and I tracked the esp32 logs. Did not get any log messages when the volume jumped.

I did see michaelherger's post a message with a problem like mine.
Searched a bit more and found this post where michaelherger states the problem is caused by the Spotty plugin's Spottify Connect functionality. Also this

Disabled Spottify Connect in Spotty and now it seems the volume jumps are gone

I was not even playing anything through Spotty, but the volume did get changed because of Spotty.

This was not related to Squeezelite.
