Hii Slint team, I have a issue when i call function after clicked(), in clicked() my code

                            HandleConfirm();
                        }

Declare

I wish handle close() popup first

after that call Confirm(), but flow run after Confirm() finish then popup.close() plsss help me check this case

Could you perhaps elaborate on the problem? your function HandleConfirm will call Confirm after popup.close(). Is that not working?

the invoke_from_event_loop will make the code not executre directly, but on the next iteration of the event loop.
Since you are already in the event loop when on_Confirm is called, you don't need to call that function there.

If you have blocking calls, you probably should spawn a thread instead.

hii @ogoffart I dont say about invoke_from_event_loop, I just dont know why popup.close() dont run before Confirm() in my code

What makes you think it doesn't?

Because Confirm() is function used to call API, I intentionally placed break point when i run debug API , it make time run Confirm() late, Then i see popup.close() do not run before Confirm() run finish

What platform and backend are you using? Qt backend or winit backend?

For the winit backend, the popup is only going to be redrawn in the next iteration of the event loop.
For the Qt backend, we rely on deleteLater to close the popup which also happens in the next event loop iteration.

So popup.close() is called before, but the effects are only visible to the users in the next event loop iteration anyway
