Repeat of the pagination process

Hi guys!
I have a question:

Imagine I have a pagination process

public static Uni<Void> pagination() {
        return Multi.createBy()
                .repeating()
                .uni(AtomicInteger::new, state -> {
                    System.out.println(state.get());
                    return Uni.createFrom().item(state.incrementAndGet());
                })
                .whilst(e -> e < 3)
                .onItem()
                .ignoreAsUni();
    }

Then I want to repeat this process few times

public static void repeatPagination() {
        pagination().repeat()
                .atMost(10)
                .onItem()
                .ignoreAsUni()
                .await().indefinitely();
    }

So Im expecting that i will see 10x times 0 1 2 will be printed. But actually I see

11

So I believe this is happening because 'second' repeat(10) do not trigger new state creation.

Is this an expected behavior?
How can I force new state creation from second repeat?

I can cleanup state 'manually'

    public static Uni<Void> pagination1() {
        return Multi.createBy()
                .repeating()
                .uni(AtomicInteger::new, state -> {
                    System.out.println(state.get());
                    state.incrementAndGet();
                    return Uni.createFrom().item(state);
                })
                .whilst(e -> {
                    boolean retry = e.get() < 3;
                    if (!retry) {
                        // cleanup the state
                        e.set(0);
                    }
                    return retry;
                })
                .onItem()
                .ignoreAsUni();
    }

And this example will give me an expected behavior. It will return 10x times 0 1 2

but is there more convinient option?
