I am using Quarkus and reactive messaging (KafkaClientService) and trying to pause consuming of messages in one channel.
Got the proper application config:
Also tried using application lifecycle events to stop consuming but it is not guaranteed that the consumer is assigned to the partition at that time. Used @PostConstruct and StartupEvent already like the following:
The other way was that i added startup annotation to the class and classed the pauseConsumer at the PostConstruct annotated method. Is there a clean way to do this?
