Is this helm chart maintained? Is it used in production?

This helm chart has so many critical bugs and issues that make it almost unusable in production.

Is anybody using this chart in a production set up?

Hi @cwegener,

We don't use the Helm charts maintained in this repo ourselves, and I don't have usage data readily available, but rest assured that there are people using it in production in various environments.

#231 was just merged, clarifying our involvement with the Helm charts in this repo. We will (continue to) respond to issues and tend to PRs, but as we're not using these charts ourselves, support is based on best-effort from our side, and leans onto the community.

I did in the end figure it all out on my own, but the design of the chart is very unusual. But I understand that bootstrapping a CA comes with a few challenges that can be tricky to codify in a helm chart.

My main issues all centered around the dozens and dozens of if statements that all are crucial to various bootstrapping logic around Secrets and ConfigMaps.

It's all working for me. Thanks for providing these charts. Even if it took me way longer than I expected to configure the chart for production deployments.
