eth_blockNumber not updating

My moralis is connected to my hardhat node and is confirmed in my moralis on the local devchain page however my blocknumbers are not updating as displayed in the video - they just keep showing up like credits in a movie (see the screenshot above and visualise the same calls continuously expanding down) but I do not see the numbers... Is this normal? Reason I ask is I have events not updating in tables in my database as well
