Couldn't find a package.json file

I have cloned the git code from hardhat-fundme-fcc and now testing it with "yarn hardhat test" but I am getting error which says that it couldn't find a package.json. here is the error:

error Couldn't find a package.json file in "/home/rohit/.config"

now, I already have a package.json file and I have tried testing it inside hardhat-fundme folder and outside it but it does not work.
I have searched it on google but got no answer. There is also no discussion or issue here on github for it. If someone can help, I would be thankful.

Follow:

• In terminal, run: cd ./hardhat-fundme/hardhat-fund-me-fcc
• Now, it should work.

It looks like your in the wrong folder in your terminal, cd into the proper one and try again

make sure your in the propper directory when you run yarn so it installs the right stuff in the the right place

If you installed something in the wrong place, delete the improper installs by deleted node_module and yarnlock and package.json in the corresponding folder

careful nesting your folders in folders with node_module , yarnlock and package.json files, it might throw errors in the future

Thank you ,it was the same problem. It is testing now. I have 1 failed test and 6 success but I will look into it. Anyway my test is working now.
