My frontend is showing this error message:

I have tried the solutions provided in other related discussions like modifying the local host chainId, adding rinkeby chainId in contractAddresses,json,

Also, my front page doesn't have any styles on it, though I have applied tailwind styling and everything. Also when I go to the front page, the metamask connects automatically even when I have not clicked on the button.

Make sure you are connecting to the supported chain and before connecting, Make sure your node is running

Did u connect your Rinkeby account on Metamask? It should be connected to rinkeby cos its probably connected to other incompatible chains

@Benrockiee the network is set to Rinkeby on metamask, when I try to change in to localhost 84.. or hardhat localhost, it keeps trying and then a message pops up saying "couldn't switch network" So I am on Rinkeby TestNet only

Rinkeby usually get some problems but if your localhost cant switch to network, u should go to settings and reset the chainId from 1337 to 31337 and reconnect..

@ashrth Make sure the ABI is correctly shifted to the frontend constant file. You can manually copy the abi from the contract code, go to artifacts => contracts => SELECT THE CONTRACT => INSIDE .json FILE => copy the abi array (start from [ and copy till ] backet) and paste that into the frontend.

@alymurtazamemon It is pasted correctly, everything inside the big brackets, it also has getEntranceFee function. But still I am facing the above mentioned issue.

Before I look into the code, can you think of any possibilities for getEntranceFee to be undefined?
