Lesson 11: No Contract deployed with name: PriceConsumerV3, Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'Logger')

I've tried to run yarn hardhat run scripts/deployment/deployPriceConsumerV3.js nothing happened, it just takes me back to the current directory. same with yarn hardhat deploy --tags feed --network localhost .

yarn run deploy gives me this error here Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'Logger') coming from this line in deployApiConsumer.js :

ethers.utils.Logger.setLogLevel(ethers.utils.Logger.levels.ERROR)

I have cloned your repo and ran command yarn run deploy and it worked for me without any problems. Try running yarn to redownload any missing packages and then try again running yarn run deploy as your repository works perfectly fine, so you had to miss some package.json downloads

@Neftyr Oh, really? I really don't know what's missing. I might have corrupted my package.json when I fixed the error Uncaught TypeError: ethers.getContract is not a function when I ran

const priceConsumerV3 = await ethers.getContract("PriceConsumerV3")

in the console.
I fixed it this way: yarn add --dev hardhat @nomiclabs/hardhat-ethers@npm:hardhat-deploy-ethers ethers

Yup just try reinstalling your packages and it should work :)

@Neftyr It works. Thanks! Now I need to find a way to fix that getContract is not a function error without messing up my package.json

Maybe you are missing this import in your hardhat config? It seems like it if it does not recognize this function.

Try below:
If you use getContract, then use require("@nomiclabs/hardhat-ethers") in your hardhat.config.js file.
If above does not work, then you might be using a newer version of hardhat, try getContractAt() method instead.

require("@nomiclabs/hardhat-ethers") in hardhat.config.js doesn't work. getContractAt() throws another error invalid address or ENS name

Hmm i cloned your repo and it worked for me so just prepare it same way and it should work. You are for sure missing some imports in hardhat config
