Basically, at the end of this meeting, I would like us to come away with a basic schedule for 2025 of events.
Brief 2024 Review
Discuss Meeting Types for 2025
(examples: Lean Events, Workshops, Interviews, Presentations, Hackathons, Code and Coffee, etc.)
I'd like to take the pulse of supporting Vendor Lead events. Ultimately, we should ask the community.
Recurring Meeting Schedule
In 2023 and 2024 - we generally met the second Wednesday of every month for Lean DevOps and Fourth Wednesday for long form events, excepting March, June, September where we would do fourth Saturday for longer workshops.
Topics to cover in 2025
Do we recirculate some topics we've done before? IaC, Pipeline Actions, Job Hunting, etc.
What Event Tools do we use in 2025?
Some options are Meetup, Eventbrite, LinkedIn (Events), Facebook.
Brainstorm and Write down some To Do's (aka create a few Issues)
Not just meetings but things like the Social Media refresh, Create a Poll, Investigate an Unconference.
Take the Pulse on the Leadership Team for 2025
Not to put anyone on the spot, but I just want to see who is willing to volunteer and help plan a few of the events and attending a few leadership meetings this year.
