Merge cells in table is not supported by Markup language

Issue Description:
As Git hub Mark Up language has limited support for table creation, to merge cells of table is not supported.
Ex: Under Access type column some rows needs to be merged

Note: When i surf over the internet about the issue lot of websites mentioned about use of ^ for rowspan but in Github MD it is not working
