📢 SOFA awards: 2025 edition 📢

As you already know, the 2025 edition of SOFA Week will be held in Lille from November 24 to 28. This event is designed to enable you to meet, share your work, and network with other SOFA enthusiasts from the worlds of research and industry.

On Tuesday 25th, a one-day conference offers you the opportunity to present your recent work with SOFA, don't hesitate to register, it is free ! This moment of share is also a moment where we give back to you. Indeed, as for previous editions, we organize the SOFA Awards, where contributions to the project are rewarded with cash prizes!

To participate, simply apply for the 2025 SOFA Awards online. Go ahead and apply now!
Contribution can be of the form of a public plugin, a PR in SOFA, an issue, a doc contribution or whatever open contribution that has been made to the community.

Your contribution will be judged on 6 different critera modulated by the level of confidence of the jury on the subject:

• TRL level
• Potential impact
• Documentation (if apply)
• Installation / Usability (UX) (if apply)
• Complexity (the more complex the better)
• External contribution (the lesser bound to the core dev team the better)

Two prizes are available:

1. 600€ for the Jury's prize, Jury being composed of 4 SOFA experts and a president
2. 400€ for the Public's prize
