How can I change the color in my prompt based on a mode? #47

In https://github.com/softmoth/zsh-vim-mode?tab=readme-ov-file#mode-sensitive-cursor-styling it's described how to change the cursor shape. Which works great, but unfortunately not when connecting with mosh, because it doesn't transmit the respective ANSI escape sequences.

While there is the right prompt indicator, on a wide screen it's easy to miss. Is it possible to change the main prompt, or the text of a command being edited? Ideally its background color, bold or underline it, etc. while keeping the foreground color?
