costumize scrollTo animation?

I'm using the scrollTo method to programatically control a FlatList scroll position. The method has a "animated" attribute that scrolls with a smooth default animation but, is there a way to use a custom animation instead? I would love to use a withDecay animation to mimic a native scroll momentum.
