CSS animations core available as separate package ?

Is it already a reality, or is it planned ?

Because right now adding [email protected]. make the web bundle 600ko bigger, which is quite heavy for load performances (google core vitals)

Hey @fabienbouchez!
We are currently in the process of creating a separate package with worklets. The remaining subpackages will be extracted afterwards. We hope to release separate packages when the reanimated 4.0.0 beta period ends and we will be able to publish a stable release (it can take 2-3 months).

For now, CSS animations are still experimental so you can use the beta package for testing but it is not recommended to use them in production.

I hope this would be a big win for the bundle size when only using CSS animations on web.

Hey. Yeah, we have still this in plans but, for now, we focused on other things and didn't manage to finish the separation of packages. We should release separate packages in the future, but I don't know exactly when.
