No member named 'parentShadowView' in 'facebook::react::ShadowViewMutation'

While trying to build the app in Xcode with React Native version : 0.78

I am getting the No member named 'parentShadowView' in 'facebook::react::ShadowViewMutation' error in RNReanimated - LayoutAnimationsUtil.cpp file.

react-native-reanimated = '3.17.1'
react-native-screens= '4.9.1'

@UjwalSujith Are you sure you're using [email protected]? This version should be compatible with [email protected], see there's an #ifdef added specifically for RN 0.78:

Can you confirm that your node_modules/react-native-reanimated/Common/cpp/reanimated/LayoutAnimations/LayoutAnimationsUtils.cpp contains those #ifdefs?

Also, have you tried upgrading to [email protected]?

I think this is a problem with your setup. Are you using Expo, RN CLI or something custom? Have you tried resetting the repo with git clean -fdX, reinstalling node_modules and iOS Pods and building again?

Yes @tomekzaw, I am using react-native CLI. Tried resetting the cache, reinstalling Xcode, reinstalling the command line tools, reinstalling node_modules and iOS Pods and building again but I am not able to resolve that header errors.

Do you also have problem with other libraries or react-native itself? It looks like C++ headers are not found as well. Have you tried uninstalling react-native-reanimated completely and see if you can build the app without Reanimated?

I tried removing the reanimated library. but still I am getting the headers error

Thanks for checking, so as you can see this is not a problem with react-native-reanimated but rather an issue with your setup.
