setting headerTransparent to false causes glitchy large header animation #3618

Description

Description

When setting headerTransparent: false (even though it is the default), the collapse animation for the large header title is glitchy. As soon as you set headerTransparent to true or undefined, it works fine (no glitches).

In fact, this setting seems to have no effect anyways. Completely removing it from the screen options (default should be false according to docs then) still leaves the header transparent.

Happens on iOS 18 as well as iOS 26 when setting it to false.

headerTransparent: undefined:

Steps to reproduce

  1. set headerTransparent: false on the native-stack screen options
