NodeMCU ESP8266

Could be nice to flash this to the NodeMCU ESP8266.

Any differences / things to be aware of with wiring?

never tried, but the nodeMCu is a 4Mb ESP8266 variant so i think it will work without changes

Fired it up today. Blinking seemed to be corresponding to no BMS on the table.

Moved it outside to the BMS , connected. LED blink was solid , with the occasional blink.

I could connect to the web page; however having some problems getting a good connection to the WiFi , think it's too far away.

Put it on a different router! Works like a charm. Next step MQTT , solving the 3x blink problem.
