Building on Windows 11 causes MS Defender to "intercept"

Description
Try to build a Setup-Project (just coping some .net8 Files together, adding a reg key, nothing special).

But building stops with:
ERROR: Could not create setup package!
ERROR: Could not build setup package!

As soon as I disable MS Defender (Stop Realtime Protection) anything works perfekt.

And: the created Setup.EXE could be installed even if Microsoft Defender runs. It is just during building.

Environment
InstallForge version: 1.6.1.39 (x86)
Operating system of the affected build or target system: Windows 11 Version 25H2 Build 26200.7623

Hello,

are packaging any application files that are detected as malware as well?

If not, I recommend to disable MS Defender during the build and use code-signing for your setup package. I could imagine that after code-signing, MS Defender will not recognize your setup package as malware.

Having the same issue. Windows Defender is flagging the uninstaller as Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.H!ml. Enabling code-signing does not change the behavior
